Welcome to MA²D! This guide will help you start using the MuleSoft Agentic Asset Designer to create, test, and publish MCP servers and Agent Cards.

What is MA²D?

MA²D is a no-code platform that enables you to:

  • Design MCP Servers - Create Model Context Protocol servers with tools, resources, and prompts
  • Build Agent Cards - Define Agent-to-Agent (A2A) interaction specifications
  • Test with Mocks - Create realistic mock scenarios before deployment

What You Can Do

Create MCP Servers

Design Model Context Protocol servers that expose:

Choose from three creation methods:

  • Import from existing HTTP-Streamable endpoint
  • Convert OpenAPI specifications
  • Build mock servers from scratch

Build Agent Cards

Define how AI agents interact with each other:

  • Skills - Capabilities your agent provides
  • Examples - Sample interactions
  • Input/Output Modes - Supported communication formats

Test & Validate

  • Create mock scenarios with realistic responses
  • Test endpoints before publishing
  • Check compliance with design rules
  • Validate against MCP protocol standards

Publish to Anypoint Exchange

Share your assets with your organization or the public:

  • One-click publishing to Anypoint Exchange
  • Version management
  • Visibility control (Public/Private/Organization)
  • OAuth2 and Basic Auth support
